Hi, we're Eilene and Tania, and if you've ever stood in a supermarket aisle squinting at a nutrition label while your kid pulls at your sleeve, we get it. That was us. Every. Single. Week.

Between us, we were raising kids with food allergies and spending way too much headspace searching for snacks that were egg-free, dairy-free, nut-free and actually something our children would eat without a full negotiation. Most of what we found was loaded with sugar, too hard for little teeth, or just… not it.

So we did what any slightly sleep-deprived, deeply determined mums would do: we decided to make our own.

Eilene brought her expertise as a dietitian. Tania brought a food science background and the lived experience of a mum who's read more ingredient lists than she'd ever like to admit. Together, we spent a year in the kitchen — testing, tweaking, taste-testing with our toughest critics (our kids!), and starting all over again.

We were genuinely picky. Sugar had to stay under 3.5g per bar. Texture had to be soft enough for little ones. Every ingredient had to be something we could pronounce and actually felt good about feeding our families. It took a lot of batches — but when our kids started reaching for them without being asked, we knew we'd cracked it.

That's when Kyoree was born.
